A group of member artists exhibited a creative display of photographs at the Top Floor Gallery in the Youth & Community Centre.
The images were chosen from a Photography Training Course run by photographer Cordelia Weedon and funded by Arts Connection, and reflects the diversity of artistic talent in this area.
The photography training course ran during November and December 2012. The course focused on getting the best use from a digital camera camera and how best to photograph artistic work, and practical ways of documenting projects for Arts Connection using both compact and SLRs cameras.
The short course covered:
Visual Literacy – Discussion on how images work.
Taking Photos – Completing practical tasks on camera functions, composition & content (ISO settings, shutter speeds, apertures, macro photography, photography people etc)
Editing – Learn about editing, sequencing, and presenting your photographs.
