Gillian Brownson is a Community Theatre Practitioner and storyteller, who delivers both original writing and established, traditional stories to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Seeing first hand, the power of story, with audiences in Dementia care centres, in schools, museums, community centres and many other settings, Gillian is committed to delivering engaging and inspiring work, with joy and warmth at the core, where audiences are active and become part of the performance. As a singer, she also uses music to convey the messages and emotions explored in her stories.
Professional partners include The Arts Council of Wales, Gwynedd Greadigol, Isle of Anglesey County Council, The National Trust, Spectrum Drama, The Maritime Museum, P4 Theatre @ National Museum of Science and Industry, the V&A Museum among others.
Gillian’s second language is Welsh and she has delivered bi-lingual projects with welsh speaking community groups.
