The project was based on two themes – the natural environment and the operas of Mid Wales Opera who celebrated their 25th anniversary for touring. The project was delivered in partnership with The Hafren and funded by the Arts Council of Wales.

Jude Howells created flags with Meifod School, Caroline Lowe made willow bulls and Anita Jenkins worked with groups to make bunting and textile hoops. We worked with groups such as Ponthafren, Mencap, Young Carer’s, Youth Clubs and delivered open access workshops at Newtown Carnival and Montgomery Craft Fair. Work was displayed at the National Eisteddfod in Meifod outside Lle Celf .

We also had a stall in the PAVO tent and drew pictures of ‘what Wales means to me’ to create a colourful collage entitled ‘My Wales’.
