We supported a number of exhibitions through our projects but also curated a series of exhibitions on our top floor gallery. These included:

  • Llanfyllin Photography Competition – showcasing over 100 images that were entered into the Photography Competition. This exhibition highlighted the winners, judge’s favourites and commended images in the three categories of entry which were: Dark; Reflections; and People at Work.
  • Wilding the Senses – featured artwork, images and writings from the project as well as promotional posters and small sculptures
  • Uganda Photo Diaries – a series of photos with stories about their lives created by children from Uganda
  • Llanfyllin High School – exhibited pupils art work

 

Night Out

The Arts Council of Wales Night Out supported a performance at Llanrhaeadr Hall by Tell-a-Vision, a shadow puppet theatre duo .

We supported the community in the following ways:

  • a range of events from the Llanfyllin Christmas Market to artist music evenings through hire of our PA
  • a number of young people and artists with hire of our photography cameras and laptops
  • artists and community groups to deliver presentations through hire of our projector
  • community groups, artists and local schools through hire of our exhibition boards, urn and event shelter
