The 6th anniversary of St Myllin’s Day on Saturday 11th June in Llanfyllin was a successful celebration of the town and its people. The day kicked off with the announcement by the mayor, Dave Goodman, of the winner of the Llanfyllin Good Citizen Award – Pauline Page-Jones. A free brunch kept the community sustained whilst enjoying the Queen’s birthday, a storytelling performance and parade from Masquerade, arts and crafts, storytelling from Juli Moran and Carol Pearce, tower tours of the church, a range of stalls from RSPCC, Llanfyllin Film Society, the Green Hub, Llanfyllin Society and many more, this was all with a backdrop of great music from Sam Gomm and Pete Beresford and Rory Motion. The event was captured by film maker Lewis Hancock.

A big-thank-you to all the volunteers who helped on the day to make it such a successful event!
