Wilding the Senses is a project that aims to make an outdoor space that is full of creativity and colour that everyone can enjoy. Over the coming year we’ll be designing and creating a colourful garden at the Workhouse so look out for future workshops that will include willow making, planting herbs and much more!

The project is open to all ages and the activities aim to be inclusive!

Saturday 1st & 15th July
Memory Making with Gabions
Bring something old or discarded that relates to you or the Workhouse in some way – it could be an old toy, pots or pans, teapots, cracked and broken flower pots, musical instruments, kitchen tiles, old engine or car parts, bailer twine, watering cans…

Workshops are FREE and will be from 10.30am – 1pm.

From 1pm feel free to stay and play – just bring your own packed lunch.

Please come with appropriate clothes as it could still be quite wet, however there may also be a lot of sunshine so don’t forget the sun cream either! We have inside spaces if the weather gets very bad.

The project is supported by the Postcode Local Trust which is a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery – www.postcodelocaltrust.org.uk
