Portraits from Paradise is an audio visual account of the existential journey of Tom Gilbert Weedon, tireless traveller, unique observer, and authentic street photographer.

From his migration to Australia in 1920s , until his untimely death in Mallorca aged 51, with his camera  he captured what he saw; places such as Egypt, the Middle East and post war Europe.

Through the portraits he took on the Balearic island, we discover an unrecognisable Mallorca, traditional and very far from the images crowded with masses of holiday makers, which now overwhelm the island.
