As part of the Welsh Government Child Care Offer scheme we were able to offer a series of art and crafts sessions, some aimed at families and others at children and young people. We delivered a series of sessions in Llanfyllin making poppits with Elen Williams, travelling to space with Lisa Sture, treasure hunting, marine life, sun printing and Gruffalo inspired art with Seren Gwanwyn, recycled instruments with Nina Duckers and nature printing with Zoe Needle, Victorian arts and crafts with Niall Evans, origami with Jane Mason, catapults with Ali Pickard, coding with lego with George Stroud. Families in Llanymynech took part in textiles with Sue Dolman, paper birds with Jane Hunter, willow art works with Caroline Lowe and circus skills with Nula Irwin.

We worked with Powys Together Community Co-ordinator to deliver natural arts activities in Llanidloes with Jane Mason and Caroline Lowe. Rebecca Buck provided clay fun in Ystradgynlais. We delivered a t-shirt printing workshop with Blue MacAskill for Maesyrandhir school. The Powys Participation Officer Children’s Services had drumming with Fliss Fleck, art with Ezma Zhao and Jane Mason We had some arty fun with Elen Williams and storytelling fun with Ceri Phillips to provide Welsh workshops in partnership with Mudiad Meithrin.

The project was a great opportunity for families to play and have fun!
