Over 5 joyful weeks, children from Ysgol Bodhyfryd and Victoria School explored Welsh nursery rhymes through rhythm, actions, and song. From counting games to lullabies, the sessions sparked curiosity, laughter and language learning through music.
One school was Welsh-medium, the other a vibrant mix of English and other first languages — but every child joined in, learned and grew in confidence. Week by week, we saw their pronunciation and joy blossom, creating an inclusive and playful atmosphere where everyone could connect with the music and the language.
Huge thanks to Elin Gittins for leading the project with such energy, to Brad Hunter for capturing it on record, and to TÅ· Cerdd for their generous support.
